Penstock valves (or channel gates) are heavy-duty flow control equipment used to direct, control, or completely cut off the fluid passing through open channels or circular/rectangular openings on walls in water and wastewater treatment plants, dams, irrigation lines, and river rehabilitation projects. 

 Unlike valves used in standard pipelines, penstocks are specially designed in large dimensions and with a strength capable of withstanding high hydraulic pressures, generally to be mounted on channel structures or reinforced concrete walls. 

 They undertake a vital safety and control duty during in-plant maintenance works, emergency situations, or process flow line changes. 

 The penstock valves we design and manufacture consist of a body, sealing elements, a movement spindle (the spindle structure can be rising or non-rising type), and a drive unit. 

 Produced entirely from AISI 304 or AISI 316 quality stainless steel materials to provide maximum resistance against corrosion, our penstocks offer lifelong durability against the corrosive and chemical effects of water. 

 Sealing between the gate and the body is provided at zero leakage (dripping) level with specially designed EPDM or neoprene gaskets that compress even further with water pressure. 

 Depending on operating needs, we offer drive options such as manual handwheels, gearboxes, or electric/pneumatic actuators that can be fully integrated into SCADA/automation systems. 

 Our penstock valves, produced with flawless workmanship and precise tolerances, work easily and safely without jamming even under the highest water column pressures.

Slide gates are mechanical flow control equipment that move vertically with manual or motor drive, used to adjust fluid level, regulate flow rate, or completely stop channel flow in open channels, inlet structures, and distribution chambers of treatment plants. 

 Especially in domestic and industrial wastewater treatment plants with open channel architecture, slide gates offer the most practical and economical solution for distributing water equally to different process basins (flow sharing) or isolating a channel for maintenance. 

 Our slide gates consist of a guide frame embedded in the channel or mounted on the wall, and a sheet metal plate (slide) that slides up and down within this frame. 

 The high-strength stainless steel materials we use in manufacturing prevent the gates from corroding and rusting against aggressive chemicals such as hydrogen sulfide (HS) gas in wastewater. 

 Special low-friction plastic guides and sensitive seals located on the edges of the slide minimize the torque requirement while moving the gate, while providing excellent sealing in the closed position.
