The working principle of the system is based on Ultraviolet-C (UV-C) rays at a wavelength of 254 nm produced by specially designed UV lamps.
Water is exposed to this intense radiation as it passes around UV lamps protected by quartz sleeves inside a stainless steel reactor body.
UV-C rays penetrate the cell walls of microorganisms and directly target their DNA and RNA structures.
By breaking the DNA chain, it completely destroys the cells' ability to reproduce and survive; thus, the microorganisms become biologically "dead".
For our UV systems to operate at maximum efficiency, it is imperative that the inlet water is free of sediment and turbidity (there must be a multimedia filter in front of it).
